Ireland has been transformed by its membership of the European Union, but a lot has changed since the country first joined in 1973.The EU is looking to its citizens for guidance on what they want from the EU and how it can work better for them. How can the EU support jobs and growth? How can it provide opportunities for our young people? What is the EU’s role in meeting the challenges of today’s globalised world, from climate change to international terrorism.On 25 June, we will be hosting an EPP Local Dialogue in Cork asking you to join this conversation and to feed into the Future of Europe process.Speakers on the night include Deirdre Clune MEP, Cllr Deirdre Forde and Dr. Mary C Murphy lecturer in politics with the Department of Government and Politics, University College Cork.We look forward to seeing you there!
