During the 6th and 7th of March EPP Local and Regional leaders will have an exhibition that will display examples of successful projects. They will be showcasing the EU added-value for citizens' daily life in the areas of local economy and jobs, entrepreneurship, climate change, digital transformation, skills and education, health and security.

 

Many high-level regional and local leaders from across the EU will be present at the stands to showcase various projects on: the sustainable development of regions, cities and villages, local jobs and growth, innovation, rural and urban mobility, agriculture, energy efficiency, local democracy, promotion of EU values via education and culture, economic, social and territorial cohesion, support for the reconstruction of Ukraine.

 

• 1. Bucovina Region - traditional crafts and art
• 2. Regions of Sibiu and Maramures - Interactive workshops of traditional crafts, their applicability in contemporary society and how they respond to society's needs. Material and immaterial patrimonial values towards a green transition.
• 3. Agriculture - the importance of agriculture in rural areas and food safety
• 4. Ilfov County - Măgurele Extreme Light Infrastructure project, innovation education program, rehabilitation project of the monasteries in Ilfov Country, animal protection project
• 5. Timis County - innovation in telecommunication, Hydrogen bicycle for a green future
• 6. City of Cluj-Napoca - An innovative approach stitched together with affinity towards IT and technology transformed our city into one of Romania's leading IT & innovation hubs, where people from all over the world are building towards a smart and collaborative community.
• 7. Green Energy - production of green energy in Romania through solar panel and windmills
• 8. The Danube Delta - showcasing the development of the main occupation of the area 
• 9.  Helsinki Region and the Finish Corridor - the "All Plastic Circulates" project of the Uusimaa Regional Council and the interactive operating model of the Finish Growth Corridor that is a practical tool that can be freely used in the development work of municipalities, regional municipalities and provinces.
• 10 - The Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung - interactives games with questions for the audience, political surveys and Local Coffee Talks
• 11 - Bucharest, Sector 6 - local innovation projects in education
• 12 - EPP-CoR - showcasing of the projects and activities that the EPP Group in the European Committee of the Regions
