The EPP Group in the European Committee of the Regions attaches great importance to respecting users’ privacy. Our privacy policy is based on Regulation (EU) 2018/1725 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 23 October 2018 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data by the Community institutions and bodies and on the free movement of such data.

Our website is mainly used as a communication tool. We collect personal information only to the extent necessary to fulfil a precise purpose specified by the data controller for each online service. The information will not be reused for a purpose incompatible with the original purpose. We put in place measures to guarantee that your data are kept up-to-date and processed securely. You may also consult the Data Protection Officer who is responsible, within each European Union institution, for ensuring that the rights and freedoms of data subjects are not adversely affected by data processing operations, in order to obtain an opinion on the processing operations either concerning you or carried out by you.
