The corona virus pandemic and resulting crisis has left a tremendous impact on workers. Some had to adapt to working online, others had to work on the front-line whereas others lost their jobs.

In these circumstances we pay special tribute to workers in key sectors including health, elderly care as well as transport, retail and delivery.
We urge the European Commission to take necessary measures to safeguard jobs and to create necessary conditions to regenerate lost jobs.
