A high-level event of the European People's Party
Less than a year ahead of the European elections, the Austrian People's Party together with the EPP and the EPP-CoR Group will organise a high-level event entitled A Europe closer to its citizens, a Europe that delivers and protects.
Participants will include EU and national leaders from the Austrian and Romanian EU Council Presidencies together with local and regional leaders and members of the EPP-CoR Group. Together they will send a strong signal for a united and value-based Europe that protects its citizens.
This high-level event is part of the EPP Grassroots Engagement in view of 2019 EU Elections launched in March 2018. As a result, many fruitful EPP Local Dialogues are being organised across the EU as a means of listening to and engaging with our citizens.
