Regions and Cities Investing in Education to Strengthen EU Values

The EU finances and the future of Europe from a regional and local perspective

Given the different economic, social and environmental features of the European Union, a “one size fits all” solution for the EU budget must follow a place based approach in order to respond to the needs of municipalities, cities and regions. We also want a pragmatic and visionary budget, where the EU´s added value can be understood by the citizens. With this purpose in mind, the European Commission has published the Reflection Paper on the future of EU finances on which the CoR is currently preparing an opinion to be adopted early 2018.

Cities and regions developing a territorial-based trans-European transport network

By the invitation from Mauro D'Attis, Municipal Councillor of Brindisi (IT), and Vice President of the EPP-CoR Group, the EPP-CoR Group's held the External Seminar in Brindisi on June 16th.

The Seminar "Cities and regions developing a territorial-based trans-European transport network" gather almost 60 Members to the Nuovo Teatro Verdi in the heart of the city and was followed by a study visit.
